1. Who we are

GiiS (General Intelligence Integrated Systems) is operated by DMC Capital. We provide an AI-powered chat platform and desktop application available at chat.giis.ai and downloadable from giis.ai. Contact: hi@giis.ai.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following information when you use GiiS:

• Account data — email address and password (hashed) when you register.
• Chat messages — conversations you send through the platform, used to generate AI responses and improve the service.
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, session duration, and error logs.
• Device data — browser type, operating system, IP address, and approximate location (country level).
• Referral activity — referral codes used and affiliate commission tracking.

3. How we use your information

• To provide and operate the GiiS service.
• To generate AI responses to your queries.
• To manage your account, credits, and referrals.
• To diagnose errors and improve performance.
• To communicate service updates (no marketing emails without consent).
• To enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Bring your own model

GiiS lets you connect your own AI provider API key (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Amazon Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, or any LiteLLM-compatible provider), or run a fully local model through the desktop app via Ollama or LM Studio. When you use a local model, your queries are processed entirely on your own device and are not sent to GiiS's servers.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

• AI model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) — your messages are sent to these providers to generate responses, subject to their privacy policies.
• Infrastructure providers — cloud hosting, databases, and monitoring services necessary to operate GiiS.
• Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data and chat history for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing hi@giis.ai. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and preference cookies to remember your theme setting. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

8. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) for data in transit and hashed storage for passwords. To report a security vulnerability, please email hi@giis.ai.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, contact us via hi@giis.ai.

10. Children

GiiS is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of GiiS after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
