Free Image Resizer
Resize photos and graphics to any size, or to social media dimensions, in your browser.
Tips
- To make a file smaller in KB, resize first, then use the image compressor.
- Screens with high pixel density look sharpest when an image is about twice its displayed width.
Frequently asked questions
How do I resize an image without losing quality?
Make it smaller rather than larger, keep "Lock aspect ratio" on, and save as PNG or high-quality JPG/WebP. Enlarging an image can only add pixels by guessing, so it will look softer.
Is my image uploaded?
No. Resizing happens in your browser and the image never leaves your device.
What do the presets do?
They set the exact pixel size used by common social posts and website images. With the aspect ratio locked, only the width is used and the height follows your image.
Which format should I save as?
PNG for graphics, logos and screenshots; JPG or WebP for photos. WebP is the smallest and works in all modern browsers.
