JSON to CSV Converter

Turn a JSON array into a CSV file for Excel or Google Sheets. Nested objects become columns.

CSV

Opening the CSV in Excel

  • Download the file, then open it in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.
  • If everything lands in one column, your spreadsheet expects a different delimiter: switch to semicolon and download again.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert JSON to CSV?

Paste a JSON array of objects. Each object becomes a row and each key becomes a column. Copy the CSV or download it to open in Excel or Google Sheets.

What happens to nested objects?

Nested objects are flattened into dot-separated columns, so {"address": {"city": "Melbourne"}} becomes a column named address.city. Arrays are kept as JSON text in one cell.

Is my data uploaded?

No. The conversion runs in your browser, so your data never leaves your device.

Why use a semicolon delimiter?

In countries that use a comma as the decimal separator, Excel often expects semicolon-separated files. Pick the delimiter your spreadsheet expects.
